Prayer Trek Day 7: GOODNESS
Dear Prayer Trek Crew,
Please forgive us. We know many of you are waiting on the Prayer Trek, Day 6 recording and we did not post it, per our normal protocol.
Look.
The conversation yesterday went there in a way that was raw, real, vulnerable, and at times uncomfortable. Thank you to our sisters across the country who kept walking alongside us, and held space, as we grappled with the Fruit of the Spirit, Gentleness. I know without a doubt that most of you walked without judgment of any of us, holding up prayers for all of us, and calling in nothing but goodness for our sisters and this movement.
In the end, we decided to be gentle to ourselves and not share the recording in order to protect something that felt very personal.
We are sorry if the disruption in posting threw you off of your Prayer Trek game. We love the passion by which everyone has committed to walking and listening for each of the 9 days and we encourage you to get in an extra 30-minute meditation walk this week if you didn’t walk yesterday because you didn’t have the recording.
As for Day 7 - Goodness.
I am asking that everybody come to the pavement to help us amplify nothing but the Goodness of the Lord.
The Prayer Line will be open immediately and we will ask everybody who has a praise report to raise your hand (you know the drill *9) and help us shift the vibration. We will take praise reports until 9:30AM and then, our special guest, Morgan Tyler, producer, talk show host and co-founder of the digital platform Moms Actually, will pray.
Raise your voice for what is good in your life. Raise your voice for what is good about this movement. Raise your voice for what is good about the world.
That’s the agenda. Nothing else.
He didn’t come this far to leave us.
Believing in transformation over these 9 days.
With Love,
Vanessa
PRAYER:
God, you are so good. Let that goodness run through me like a river and overflow into every area of my life. Let me actively choose to offer goodness as a practice and a discipline. Let me walk in accordance with your will. May goodness find me and follow me all the days of my life.
Amen.
