You’re registered for Black Family 5K

We are so excited that you will be participating in GirlTREK’s Annual Black Family 5K! Your family will join thousands of families across the country in this new family tradition. 

Now that you’re registered it’s time to start rallying your family and getting them ready for this fun post-Thanksgiving event. You can pick any day over the Thanksgiving weekend to host your 5K. Some people plan their walks directly after the meal on Thursday; some like to plan their walks for Friday as an alternative to the Black Friday madness. It’s up to you! 

You can share this invite with your family via text, email or on social media. Get your cousins, your uncles and even the babies in on it—the more the merrier!

You can purchase official gear for your family before you hit the streets or rock-matching shirts so you can show that family spirit. Your order must be placed by November 16th at 12 p.m. to arrive in time for Thanksgiving.
